Environmental Science and Sustainability
Overview of the interrelationships between humans 和 environment. The material presented in the first one-third of the course focuses on important ecological concepts. The remainder of the course deals with human influence on the environment and sustainable practices to avoid or ameliorate the negative impacts. 

Marketing for a Sustainable World
An analysis of an organization’s opportunities to develop sustainability practices as they relate to the development of product, pricing, supply and distribution channels (retail, wholesale), promotion (advertising, sales promotion, public relations) and target markets.

Historical roots of the idea of development, economic theories of growth 和ir implications for sustainability, and interrelationships between population growth, food security, poverty, inequality, urbanization, technological change, international trade and environmental change at local, regional and global scales.     Professor of Biogeography
    Sustainable Management Degree Completion Advisor

    Dr. Wolf's research interests include biogeography, soils, and fire ecology in forests, wetlands, and grasslands in Arizona, Colorado and Wisconsin, and bird dynamics in coastal forests in the Pacific Northwest. She teaches Biogeography, Landscape Ecology, Dendrochronology, Soil Ecosystems, Field Methods, Geomorphology, Physical Geography and Natural Resources Management. She is the recipient of the 2017 Chancellor's Award for Teaching and Learning Assessment. She is published in over twenty different journals, including Journal of Applied Ecology, 和 Journal of Higher Education Outreach and Engagement.

    Dr. Rachel Headley
    Assistant Professor of Geoscience
    Director of the Center for Environmental Studies

    Dr. Headley received her B.S. in Physics from University of Maryland-College Park and her Ph.D. in Earth Science from the University of Washington, joining UW-Parkside after a post-doctoral position at Universität Tübingen (Germany). She teaches courses on climate change, environmental science, glacial geology, and geomorphology. She researches glacial geomorphology, from glacial deposits in Wisconsin to active glaciation in Alaska. She also works with local groups in SE Wisconsin to monitor river erosion and sediment transport.

    Suresh Chalasani
    Professor of Management Information Systems

    Dr. Suresh Chalasani teaches in a number of programs including Management Information Systems, Health Information Management and Technology, Sustainable Management, Project Management, 和 MBA program. He serves as the Academic Director for the first competency-based Business degree program in the UW System --- flexible option Bachelor of Science in Business Administration offered by UW-Extension --- a program that he helped design and implement.
